You can learn on this one day course, how to:
- Rethread the EASY way
- Rolled hems
- Gather fabric
- Neaten raw edges professionally
- Twiddle the knobs with confidence
- Use threads for decorative effects
- Change the colours with great effect
Bring along:
- Overlocker (or use ours), foot control, plug, spare feet, spare needles, machines screwdrivers or ‘allen’ keys, accessories & instruction manual
- Assortment of fabric cuttings, light & medium weight or what you eventually want to sew with
Take away an array of samples of what your Overlocker can do for you!
If you are not sure how to use your over locker -
Bring your own overlocker and you will start with the basics, threading up and tension adjusting. You will then see how to adjust cutting widths and differential feed will be explained.
You will make an array of samples of various stitches including rolled hems. This
is a great day to learn about your overlocker.
Please note your overlocker must be in working order. If for any reason there is a problem with your overlocker on the day, we will make every effort to provide a replacement overlocker for the day.
