These decorative items can be soft made from fabric alone or padded over a wooden base to create an impressive window treatment.

 

You can learn a variety on this one day workshop, how to:
 

 

  • Make Goblet heading

  • Make Triple Pleat heading

  • Calculate & construct Double Pleats

  • Allow for hems & turnings

  • Finish off professionally

  • Hang & dress the above
     

If you have never used a sewing machine before, you may need to have attended the Sewing Machine Day first.

 

OR Lambrequins (Padded wooden Pelmets)

 

  • Shape your pattern

  • Cut out plywood accurately

  • Hinge the returns

  • Pad out lambrequin face

  • Apply main fabric

  • Line & finish backing

  • Apply trimmings

  • Apply fixings
